Oil Condition Monitoring Tools & Technologies
Oil Condition Monitoring is the oldest of all parameters that industrial equipment operators and maintenance personnel started using to better manage their assets. This practice have evolved through the years, thanks to the great technological advancement we have today, to a state where it provides precise and actionable information.
NATCOM offers a comprehensive solution of oil condition monitoring tools and technologies to fit every industrial need, ranging from very simple, single parameter monitoring to extremely detailed and capable technologies, both for field-based condition monitoring and lab analysis.
The selection of which tools and technologies to use depend on the type of oil, type of asset in which it operates, the criticality of the asset to the operation, the economy and expected return on investment.
Below are some of the products of our current oil condition monitoring portfolio offering. Call or write to us to speak to our experts who can help you select the best products that fits your application needs and help you reap the benefit you are looking for and more.

The Membrane Patch Colorimetry (MPC) test is a quick, cost-effective way of assessing your oil’s varnish potential.
The MPC Color instrument allows real time on-site determination of the condition of your lubricant. Data results are captured and stored in text and audio captions for quick analysis. The MPC Color packs tremendous science into a convenient and extremely accurate package.

RULER - Remaining Useful Life Evaluation Routine.
Discover oxidation earlier than with any other technologies.
Oils do more than just lubricate. They are an historical archive, giving you a remarkably accurate documentation of machine events and contaminant ingressions.
The RULER® V™ provides the full picture of a fluid’s antioxidant health – it’s a window into the health of your lubricant. This technology is a critical part of an effective condition monitoring program.

FluidInspectIR®-Inline Oil Condition Analyzer
The FluidInspectIR® – Inline is a multi-sensor system for real-time monitoring of the oil condition. The system is either installed in the main oil circuit via a bypass system or it takes the oil from a reservoir (sump, tank) using an integrated pump. Additional functionality can be provided by integrating an optical particle or wear sensor.
The FluidInspectIR – Inline is a plug & play analyzer and can be installed remotely. It provides the user with key oil degradation parameters in the same format, units and accuracy as per standard oil analysis laboratory reports.

FluidInspectIR®_PLUS
The FluidInspectIR®_PLUS offers real-time monitoring of oil condition in a compact system. This plug & play analyzer can be easily installed remotely in the oil circuit bypass line, allowing for sampling via an electric valve or with a pump from the oil tank/reservoir.

TanDelta®Online Sensor
Real time oil analysis systems for commercial and industrial equipment.
Unique FSH™ core technology enables continuous analyses of oil at a molecular level, enabling us to see and detect minute changes caused by contamination, wear and internal issues - long before any other monitoring technology.

FluidInspectIR Summary Information MIRS-T-V
The MIRS8-T-V transmission sensor is a rugged and robust sensor designed for online measurements of oils in moving vehicles. The MIRS8-T-V is a novel sensor platform targeted to be used in mobile machinery, agricultural equipment, construction machinery military vehicles.

Particle Counters / Minilabs
The multiple award-winning Particle Pal product range are modular designs utilizing a wide range of sensors to suit individual testing requirements.
Filtertechnik offer two particle counting options: Laser Counters or Digital Imaging, which is a more advanced particle counting technology with a wide range of benefits (see more below).
There are currently 16 product variations, use our selection guide below to refine your search in order to find the best Particle Pal for your application.

Online Particle and Humidity Monitors (for use with filtration Systems)
Laser & digital imaging particle counters range of Filtertechnik is a revolutionary range of sensors capable of counting a broad spectrum of particles, recognizing shapes and eliminating air bubbles from the counts. Many years of research and development have gone into this new sensor.
The sensor has the ability to measure a broad spectrum from 4 to >70μm recognising different shapes of particles which can be grouped into fatigue wear, sliding wear and cutting wear as well as fibers.

Patch Test Kits
Particulate is a significant cause of system failures and component wear. Particles found in hydraulic systems are introduced from a variety of sources, from new oil deliveries to air born dust entering tank vents, to internal corrosion of tanks and wear particles to name but a few.
The portable patch test kit enables you to quickly identify abnormal levels of contamination, wear debris and varnish in fluid power systems so that corrective actions can be scheduled.

Remaining Oil Life Portable Test Kit
An easy to use test kit allows engineers and technicians to track the remaining life of oils. The system is based on a Tan Delta Holistic Sensor that measures the used oil and compares the oil to a fresh oil of the same type. The system is able to detect and trend the oil degradation.
The software allows users to analyze an oils remaining Life by comparing samples against an ever growing database of oils.

Mobile Test Kit
Easily analyse any oil from any equipment in seconds with the portable MOT kit, enabling maintenance crews to make fact- based decision making. Instantly and scientifically determine exactly how worn oil is, how long until it needs to be changed or refreshed, how long until equipment maintenance is needed and be alerted to unseen internal issues with equipment which could lead to an unexpected breakdown needing attention.
Simple and easy to use with no training required. Prevents wasting of good oil and ensures equipment is maintained when needed.

Universal Minimess® Oil Sampling Kit
The Universal Minimess® oil sampling kit contains all you need to be able to extract oil samples safely and effortlessly from almost anywhere on your machine or plant.
Safe & easy to use Minimess® sampling points Take oil samples up to 630 bar working pressure Extract oil samples from low or non pressurised vessels & tanks A wide range of fittings & adaptors allow for Minimess® sampling points to be easily installed.
